On the third Saturday of Advent the terrace turns into a small market. A brass quintet from the valley plays from seven, and the kitchen serves mulled wine and Kaiserschmarrn by candlelight.

Dress warmly and bring a headlamp for the walk back. Overnight stays are available if you would rather watch the stars than the road.
